Welcome to the AHW Magazine! I have been a fan of apartment house wrestling since 1975,
May 1975 to be exact. That was when I saw that month's issue of Sports Review Wrestling on
the shelves of my local drug store. That bright yellow cover, that huge picture of Cynara and
Jenny entangled, pulling on each other's bikinis - I was hooked. A couple of years ago, I
decided to share my enjoyment of this genre with other fans. It's been fairly successful.
And now I would like to move to another level.
This magazine is my attempt to bring apartment house wrestling into the new millenium. Each
issue of the magazine will feature a new ahw battle, photgraphed and written by yours truly.
I will try and maintain the same breathless, overwrought style that made the original stories
so much fun. I'll also be including a reprint of a randomly selected original ahw story so
that those who have seen the pictures but haven't had the opportunity to know the full story
behind each match, will finally be able to enjoy the full ahw experience.
And there will be other photostories and features as well. Hopefully making this a fun and
enjoyable magazine for female fighting fans everywhere. Now I'll be the first to admit that
I'm no award winning writer or photographer. But with luck, my lack of skills in those areas
along with my limited programming abilities will be overcome by my enthusiasm for the subject
matter. But you, the reader, will be the final judge of that.
The magazine is set up in a typical magazine format - table of contents, letters, features, etc.
You can either go through page by page from front to back or use the table of contents to skip around at your
descretion. I hope you enjoy the magazine. Feel free to contact me with suggestions, complaints,
ideas, or whatever.
