When the fight is on the line, when the combatants are exhausted, that's when
the gloves really come off. Any semblance to fair play and tactics are ignored
and survival becomes as important as victory. The meaning of "no holds barred"
is visible to any spectator: Find a weak spot in your foe and exploit it. Often
that weak spot is literally a soft spot - the breast. Its sometimes hard
to watch, surely more difficult to endure personally. But visually, it is a powerful
image, one of the most coveted in fem-fight archives.
